Adventurous by nature, my goal in life is to explore everything and everyone I can, dig deep for meaning and infect others with my passion. I don't understand the urge to put on a mask and become someone else; what you’ll always find in me is curiosity, a desire to desire, a refusal to take anything too seriously. I’m the first to laugh in a silent room or in the middle of a passionate, intimate moment; joy makes romance all the sweeter.

Born in the Midwest and educated at a top east coast university in sciences and media business, upon graduation I took a job in television before deciding I’d rather work for myself on my own hours. Since quitting, I spend my days stimulating my mind with writing and theater production and my nights, my senses. I have a tendency toward craftsmanship and can often be found making a knife at the forge where I apprentice or fixing pottery with kintsugi, and am always learning—you’ll never see me without a book in my bag. Variety is the spice of life, and I refuse to restrict myself to a type; I love the high class and the low, the intellectual and the perverse, flowing between extremes with ease. If you want someone who agrees with everything you say, I’m not the girl for you; I love to challenge my preconceptions, require it, and do the same for others. Learning only ends when life does, after all.

On my nights off, I’m just as likely to be found snuggling my cat in a superhero t-shirt as I am to be at an upscale club in a body-conscious dress. I pride myself on my ability to make a connection with anyone, to find that one obscure topic we both feel passionate about, and I’ve met some of the best people and had the most fascinating conversations because of it. One friend insists I know something about everything, and makes it a mission to find topics I can’t converse on; she’s never succeeded.

I encourage those in my life to live in the now, to savor champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries whenever possible and to spend their time and money on those they love. Fuck your friends, book that trip you’ve been craving, spend that money you think maybe you shouldn’t. I like to say I’m living in my retirement now, traveling when I want and worrying less than I should. But after all, who wants to wait their whole life to have all that fun?

Soft and gentle, fierce and curious, I contain multitudes you can unpack like a Russian doll. Let’s play footsie under a cocktail table while I dissect everything that makes you unique before heading upstairs, hands brushing in the elevator, sparks flying so fast we can barely wait for the door to close behind us. I want to explore you the same way I do everything else; intensely, and with passion.
